END OF 2024-2025 ACADEMIC YEAR

Despite the violent events that affected the region, the three study trips—to Jordan, the Negev, and Galilee—were a true success. Deeply committed to their academic pursuits, students from around the world demonstrated exceptional dedication, competence, and rigor. In the second semester, the year-long residential student group was joined by a significant number of independent researchers, scholarship recipients, and visiting professors, creating a dynamic and stimulating research environment marked by fraternity and mutual support.

A hallmark of the ÉBAF, the diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and academic profiles greatly enriched both dialogue and instruction throughout the year. As the crowning achievement, no fewer than three doctoral defenses took place—an outstanding reward for both the candidates and the institution. Combined with the publications by the Dominican brothers, there is no doubt that, despite the many challenges brought on by ongoing conflicts, this academic year has truly borne fruit.
