We gathered at the École biblique et archéologique française de Jérusalem for the first lecture of the year, held on Thursday 15 January 2026 at 6:00 pm in the ÉBAF conference hall.
Christophe Rico, Professor of Greek at the ÉBAF and founder of the Polis Institute, explored the following passage from the Book of Job:
“I know that my Redeemer lives, and that on the last day I shall rise from the earth.” (Job 19:25 – Vulgate)
Through a dialogue between the Greek tradition and Christian reception, Professor Rico helped us reflect on the crossroads of exegesis and theology with a lecture centered on the hope of redemption and resurrection.
