Job: “I know that my Redeemer lives” – ÉBAF Thursday Lecture, 15 January 2026 at 6:00 pm, by Christophe Rico

Join us at the École biblique et archéologique française de Jérusalem for the first lecture of the year, on Thursday 15 January 2026 at 6:00 pm, in the ÉBAF conference hall.

Christophe Rico, Professor of Greek at the ÉBAF and founder of the Polis Institute, will explore the following passage from the Book of Job:

“I know that my Redeemer lives,
and that on the last day I shall rise from the earth.”
(Job 19:25 – Vulgate)

Through a dialogue between the Greek tradition and Christian reception, Professor Rico invites us to a reflection at the crossroads of exegesis and theology, centred on the hope of redemption and resurrection.

Lecture held in person at the ÉBAF:
83–85 Nablus Road / Derekh Shekhem, Jerusalem.

Free admission.
