The friends of the École biblique et archéologique française de Jérusalem

The École biblique et archéologique française de Jérusalem is supported by three Friends associations, created to maintain the living link between the ÉBAF and its network and friends and former students, and to support its actions.

IN FRANCE: Les Amis de l’École biblique et archéologique française (AAEBAF)

Founded in 1971, the Association is currently chaired by Mr. Alain Rémy, former Ambassador and Consul General of France in Jerusalem (2005–2009). Members of the Association receive a biannual newsletter, Nouvelles de Jérusalem, and are invited to attend two conferences each year in Paris, focusing on biblical or archaeological topics. The Association is authorized to issue tax-deductible receipts, allowing individuals to benefit from income tax reductions (IR), and companies from corporate tax reductions (IS), in accordance with current French regulations.
