A studious summer in Amman for our archaeologists

As has happened every summer for several years, our archaeologists have set themselves up in Amman at the beginning of July for two months of intensive work with a view to preparing for the publication of the results of digs done in Jordan over the years. After several summers devoted to work on the site of Samra, Br. Jrean-Baptiste Humbert and his team have this summer been working on the excavations undertaken by the Ecole Biblique between 1988 and 1994.

A number of expert collaborators have joined Br. Jean-Baptiste thanks to Br. Jean-Michel de Tarragon, the team’s photographer, who is in charge of all the logistics for these two studious summer months. We are already thrilled to think of the fine publication that is to result.
