SATURDAY VISITS: NICE START !

For few years now, the Dominicans have been organising historical and cultural visits to many places in the Holy Land.

These visits, aimed at the French-speaking public of Jerusalem and the surrounding area, allow them to immerse themselves in a different way in the history and culture of this wonderful country.

This year, brothers Cyrille Jalabert and Benoît Vandeputte are in charge. They started the year with the discovery of the Saint Stephen Covent, their home.
The programme included a visit to the basilica, the library and the museum. But also discovery of the hypogeums which are in the enclosure of the domain.

Discovering this place for French-speaking people who live here, or who are just passing through, is always a joy. Indeed, the Saint-Etienne estate and the EBAF are part of the jewels of French culture, to which we do not have systematic access!

The next outing will take place on November, the 19, and will allow participants to discover the Armenian quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem.
