Friar Martin Staszak, o.p., has been elected Prior of the St.Stephen priory in Jerusalem.
After confirmation of his election by the Master of the Order, Fr.Martin officially accepted his mission on November 7, 2022.
A Dominican friar originally from Germany and ordained in 1986 in Freiburg, Fr.Martin arrived at the École Biblique in 2015, where his roles included lecturer in Old Testament and doctoral students’ seminar.
