On Wednesday 6 December, at the headquarters of the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in Bethlehem, in the presence of the Minister, the Consul General of France and the Director of AFD in Jerusalem, an agreement was signed for the continuation and development of heritage preservation activities at St Hilarion in Gaza under the scientific supervision of the Ecole Biblique de Jérusalem.
The enhancement of the Byzantine perimeter around the Basilica of St. Stephen in Jerusalem is part of this project, which should include significant training of local capacities.
